About the Role
A fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed developer infrastructure startup in the cloud PaaS space is looking for a Growth/Product Engineer to elevate the usability, UX, and visual polish of their platform. You'll join a small, product-focused engineering team, help define the product's design language, and have a direct hand in shaping the direction of the product itself.
This is a high-impact, highly visible role at a Series A company where great UX and a consistent design system directly move the needle on customer experience and engineering velocity. All experience levels are welcome — including new grads — and visa sponsorship is available.
What You'll Do
Take platform usability and UX/visual polish to the next level across the entire product.
Participate in all feature discussions and help shape the trajectory of the product.
Improve the UI/UX and organization of the core dashboard experience.
Implement a design system and define the platform's visual language.
Raise the standard for code quality and contribute to engineering culture.
Build and maintain UI using React, styled-components, and TypeScript.
Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams working with Go, Kubernetes + Helm APIs, Postgres, and Redis.
Work with cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP as needed.
Occasionally operate in a PM-like capacity to drive product vision through to execution.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
Proven experience implementing a design system and establishing a consistent visual language for a product.
Complete fluency in React, TypeScript, and CSS in production frontend applications.
Demonstrated ability to ship features at high velocity in a fast-moving, iterative startup environment.
Experience delivering frontend features end-to-end in production.
Strong design sensibility with a sharp eye for UX and visual detail.
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and collaborating closely across product and engineering.
Nice-to-haves:
Exposure to full-stack or backend integration with Go, Kubernetes/Helm, Postgres, Redis.
Experience with styled-components in React.
Familiarity with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
Experience building or contributing to design system tooling and component libraries.
You'll thrive here if you:
Value rapid learning and continuous improvement.
Enjoy having real product ownership and influencing direction — not just executing tickets.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and can ship at a daily cadence.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $100,000 – $200,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
Visa sponsorship available.
Open to all experience levels, including new graduates.
